1. Rental Agreement
By booking with 509 Outfitters, you agree to rent the selected equipment for the duration specified in your reservation. You acknowledge that you are responsible for the gear from the moment of delivery until the moment of confirmed pickup.
2. Payment & Security Deposit Policy
Rental Fee: The full rental and delivery fee is charged at the time of booking.
Security Hold: You authorize a refundable security hold of $100.00 to be placed on your card 24 hours prior to the rental start date.
Release: This hold will be released within 24 hours of gear return, provided the equipment is returned in its original condition.
Damages: We reserve the right to capture funds from the security hold for gear damage, loss, or unauthorized late returns.
3. Mobile Delivery & Pickup
- Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate delivery locations (Campsite # or GPS coordinates).
- Attendance: You or a designated adult must be present for the initial delivery to receive the safety orientation and sign the liability waiver.
4. Equipment Safety & Liability
⚠️ Outdoor activities on the Kettle River and in Ferry County involve inherent risks. Always wear a life jacket while using water gear.

- PFDs: Life jackets must be worn at all times while using water gear.
- Waiver: All renters must sign our Water Gear Liability Waiver before equipment will be released.
5. Cancellations
- Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the rental date receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% re-stocking fee to cover lost booking opportunities and logistics prep.
